Advantages: A landmark drum & bass album, remains fresh sounding Disadvantages: One stand out track, while the rest struggle to compete
...over 20 minutes long. But timeless is exactly what critics were talking about when they started talking about this album. Goldie’s follow-up album (Saturnzreturn) certainly takes this overindulgence to another level with the 60 minute long “Mother”. The track “Timeless” however is superb. It has soul without being at all cheesy and even though it is so long doesn’t seem it. Really it is three tracks.
