Advantages: A very classy Horner soundtrack
Disadvantages: Overplayed by today

Advantages: Very good, classical, a bit different from the norm
Disadvantages: Sounds all the same after a while

The Titanic soundtrack sells itself on the theme from the film, "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. That besides the album is decent, based around a classical theme. However there are traces of Dion's track through a lot of the rest of the soundtrack. It starts to sound a bit too familiar and all a bit alike after a while. Titanic the soundtrack. Pardon the pun. But the soundtrack itself was titanic in sales as well. I remember running out after the movie to any and every music shop to try and get the soundtrack after I saw the movie, but unfortunately, I think everybody else had the same idea. Sigh....
