Turbo [Remastered] - Judas Priest

There is a lot of controversy about ‘Turbo’ by Judas Priest. Many Priest fans who prefer the original heavy sound despise it with a passion, but it has also created many new fans who like the new sound that they decided to try. Personally I don’t mind the album but it is there are certainly better tracks to be found in the Judas Priest collection. Some of my favourite tracks on the album are: ‘Locked In’, purely because it is quite heavy compared ...
...it seems to be more like traditional Priest tracks than most of Turbo’s tracks. ‘Reckless’, this isn’t a normal Priest track but I just like the whole way it is played with high guitar bits and solo’s however I still think that Rob Halford should use the power in his voice to its full extent as not many people have such a great singing ability as him but he doesn’t always use use it. Review of Turbo [Remastered] - Judas Priest

Judas Prist - Turbo released on Columbia in 1986 Ok now this albums seriously hits the rock bottum, the guys started fiddling with a bit of technical equipment they defiantly would have been better of not using. Namely synthesizers, that and combined with the down trodden lyrics, poor production and Hollands exceptionally boring beats. On the other hand, they did get a few new fans based on the new sound, they began to have somewhat the same fanbase ...
...fiddling with synthesizers, they just did it better. Anyway, on to the songs. the aforementioned synthesizers can be hear in particularly "Locked In", which just reduces this song to rubble, and unfortunatly this remains one of the better songs on this album, some of the songs like Rock You All Around The World & Parental Guidance simply scream that something is wrong, this is by far nothing like Priest, albeit they are catchy thats about it, they ...
