Advantages: FRESH, FUNKY, FABULOUS MIX OF ROCK AND POP AND SO MUCH MORE Disadvantages: NOT A SINGLE ONE...!!!!
...Sussex and London, and Twelve Stops and Home is their debut album.
*********************************************************************
The Feeling
(The Album)
This is the band's debut album, and was released on the 6th June 2006 on Island Records.
The album has been titled because Dan grew up in Bounds Green in London, and it's twelve stops between Leicester Square to Bounds green on the Picadilly Line of the Tube. The picadilly line is shown ... ...title "Blue Picadilly", which includes the lyrics of the albums' title.
For a debut album, it has done remarkably well in a very short space of time, and the band are touring all over the world, bring the live versions of their songs to the masses. They hit Newcastle in November, but initial inquiries suggest that they're sold out here, so I'm just going to have to cry myself to sleep for a few nights to get over it. (I'm not joking, I'm truly gutted!!)

Twelve Stops and Home - The Feeling
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^
Let me tell you a story, perhaps the oldest story in the world. It's a story of love: love desired, love found and, finally, love lost. Ah, we've all been there. But scratch that, I think I'll let some friends of mine tell you the story. Let me introduce you to four nice young lads who call themselves 'The Feeling'. Yeah, it's a stupid name ... ...call them art students while we're at it, have really put themselves through the mill this time as this tale is rather more complex than the normal boy meets girl scenario. It runs from initial coveting through a very short romance and leads to rejection, pleading, stalking, general sour grapes and finally to some self-delusional acceptance. Again, I think we've all been there.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you The Feeling and their tragic tale of ...

...songs (in my opinion) on Twelve Stops And Home.
Track 2: Never Be Lonely 9/10
"People in love get fast and foolish, people in love get everything wrong..."
One of the best songs on the album, Never Be Lonely is a fresh little mix of great singing, a catchy chorus (AND verses!) and you've just got to hear the line "B..b..b..baby, I think I'm going c..c..c..crazy" and you'll be singing it all day long. There's even a guitar solo on this track - ... ...wait too long!) and fill it with upbeat summer choruses that they're getting to be well-known for now.
I would definitely recommend Twelve Stops From Home - it's well worth a buy. The cheapest I've found it for you guys is at 4cheapcds.com, for just £7.99. Bargain! ...

...THE FEELING
----------------
TWELVE STOPS AND HOME
---------------------------------
Have you heard of this relatively new band - The Feeling? If you haven't, I'm sure you will. If you have, I'd say there's more than a fair chance that you like their music.
The Feeling practically appeared out of nowhere towards the end of 2005 when their debut single - 'Fill My Little World' was given a limited release but was played with great frequency on ... ...of the same name. The twelve stops referred to in the album title are the twelve stops on the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground (Leicester Square to Bounds Green).
The style of music performed by The Feeling immediately has an air of familiarity about it. I recall my fiancée's sister talking about 'Never Be Lonely' (released on August 28, 2006 and reaching number 9 in the singles chart) when we heard it on the radio and her mentioning that ...

...about life in general, but Twelve Stops and Home is such an album. It contains 12 tracks 4 of which have had good chart success so that is a good indication as to the standard of the tracks.
I WANT YOU NOW
This is quite an up tempo number and is quite catchy once you've heard it a few times. It is definitely not the strongest track on the album, but it is pleasant and gets the toes tapping.
NEVER BE LONELY
This track is just great, it is a slowish ... ...chorus it soon lifts you up even though the lyrical content is somewhat sad the overall feel is that of joy. I kinda got the impression he had lost a love but wasn't too bothered about it. This is the first track on the album which was a chart hit.
FILL MY LITTLE WORLD
Another up tempo number with starts of slowly and builds up. Yet again this is a catchy number which will have you joining in in no time at all. One of the strongest tracks.
KETTLE'S ...

...through London that went through twelve stops.
Overall, this album is a good album i think and i would defnititely recommend it still even though it's over a year old.
The tracks on the album are as follow:
1. I Want You Now 2. Never Be Lonely 3. Fill My Little World 4. Kettle's On 5. Sewn 6. Anyone 7. Strange 8. Love It When You Call 9. Rosé 10. Same Old Stuff 11. Helicopter 12. Blue Piccadilly My favourite tracks from the album include, I Want ... ...all the tracks on this album are good. I think the Blue Piccadilly song is abit long, probably my least favourite because of that reason but it's still a good song. People who like Indie/rock style music or people who like cheerful music will like this album, people who are fans of similar bands of the same type of music, for example, The Kooks, Razorlight, The Fratellis etc. ...

When you take a look at the gigs/festivals that these guys have performed, you would think they have been around for years. In actual fact, their first single "fill my litle world" was released in 2005. The following year they released "sewn", and "never be lonely" and "love it when you call". The band is another new British talent who have been compared to the likes of Supertramp, ELO and more recently Keane, but I think they have a unique sound ... ...would be liked my most. The band members are Dan Sells (the vocalist), Ciaran and Kevin Jeremiah, Richard Jones and Paul Stewart. The band have been getting theirselves known by touring the UK and playing at the many festivals such as T in the park, V festival and more recently the Isle of Wight festival this year. This debut album "Twelve Stops and Home" was released by Island Records in June 2006 in the UK and was released in the US in February ...

An amazing assortment tracks including 'fill my little world', 'helicopter' and 'love it when you call' to name but a few. I know the lyrics can be a bit naff with liberal uses of the lines like "la la la" but at least it simple to sing along to. Also some of The Feeling's music is overplayed ('fill my little world' and 'never be alone' to state a couple), but it is refreshing to listen to a band who manage to hold an upbeat style to their music ...

I bought this album on a recent shopping trip after hearing some songs on the radio, I was not disappointed with my purchase!! The songs are catchy and was soon humming along to the tune of songs I hadn't already heard. This album has a feel good factor about it, that gets me smiling when I listen. Advantages: Lovely melodies, appeals to all Disadvantages: Goes ever-so slightly downhill towards the end of the album
I was unsure of The Feeling at first but having heard a couple of catchy singles I was fully prepared to be let down by yet another band flattering to deceive with mediocre material hiding behind the radio hits. How wrong I was!
This is a sweet, charming, melodic, uplifting and frankly adorable collection. Try to banish your prejudices and dislike for bands that throw themselves at the teenage girl pop fan.
