Well well well, hasn't little Avril come a long way from her 'Let Go' with this groundbreaking album. It's been three years since I bought it and 'Under My Skin' is still one of my favourite albums of all time. The album has a completely different mood compared to 'Let Go'... it's clear that Avril has jammed-packed a majority of the songs with angst. The best track for me without a doubt is 'Together', and I was truly disappointed when it wasn't ...

A mix of punk, pop and rock. I've had this album for a while, and still find myself recommending it to friends and family, trying to spread the Avril spirit! After loving Avril's first album ('Let Go'), and still listening to it over and over again, this next one ('Under My Skin') did not dissapoint! in fact I sometimes find myself thinking that it's better than the first. If you liked any of Avril's first album tracks, you will find as I did, ...
...punchy second album of consistently good tracks. Particular favourite tracks of mine being: The immediately catchy 'freak out' and an anthem I beleive to be 'take me away'. And if you liked the single tracks 'My Happy Ending' and 'Nobody's Home', they are all on here too. Good to sing along to and pretend your just as good as the rock chick herself! The value of this album has dropped considerabley, since it came out in 2004. It's a great lalbum, and her songs are original and all her lyrics mean something to someone. The album seems very different than other albums in the same genre as she is. The Album are is very dark, and more gothis, than rock. I love this album, and artist. the best songs in this album are undoubtibly at the start of it. a couple of the tracks are a bit weak towards the end, and get a bit monotonous. ...
