Advantages: Feisty and uplifting
Disadvantages: Too hardcore for some tastes

Please ignore the other opinion on this CD. It is from a self-confessed non-fan of rap who is therefore in no position to analyse this album. I am more of an R 'n' B person than rap and hip-hop but basically loved "What chu Like", the duet with Tyrese, so much that i bought this album on the back of it and I was not disappointed. Advantages: Her longest album to date; more variety than previously
Disadvantages: Poppier in places; too many interludes

Da Brat's third album, four years along from Anuthatantrum and after a lot more female rappers emerged on the mainstream hiphop scene. You can feel the influence they've had on Brat and in some ways this is good and others not so. She has 'sexed-up' her image which I can only say seems designed to attract male consumers and alienates a lot of her original fans. However, image aside, it is a good album.
