Advantages: Feisty and uplifting Disadvantages: Too hardcore for some tastes
Please ignore the other opinion on this CD. It is from a self-confessed non-fan of rap who is therefore in no position to analyse this album. I am more of an R 'n' B person than rap and hip-hop but basically loved "What chu Like", the duet with Tyrese, so much that i bought this album on the back of it and I was not disappointed. Advantages: Her longest album to date; more variety than previously Disadvantages: Poppier in places; too many interludes
Da Brat's third album, four years along from Anuthatantrum and after a lot more female rappers emerged on the mainstream hiphop scene. You can feel the influence they've had on Brat and in some ways this is good and others not so.
