Advantages: Classic stuff Disadvantages: You've got to be joking!!
They've been away for a while - but they're now back with a vengeance - The Unutterable is quite simply one of the fresshest albums you'll here this decade and this from an outfit that's been around for nearly 25 years - well at least the Grumpy Old Man has.
I'd been waiting for this album to come out for ages and so had many others judging by the correspondence on FallNet (if you've not tried it, you don't know what you're missing).

Advantages: Smith, the band, the songs, oh, everything Disadvantages: Too long since the last one
This is one of the mysteries of the universe - why are The Fall not one of the most popular bands on this planet - I love them and they make wonderful music. The Unutterable is the LOOOOOOONG awaited new CD, it's been almost a couple of years since their last offering and is now finally sprung on an unsuspecting world.
Even as a confessed Fall addict, I have to say that this is a fine piece of work, far better than we've any right to expect from ...
