If you wondered what happened to Carol after originally hearing her on the demo release of No, It Isn't, she sings a duet with Mark on the track Make You Smile. blink-182 fans will be proud of this and if you are any kind of punk rock/pop-punk fan you should pick up this album. ...Beating" by plus 44. When you've been in band as big as blink 182 you gonna get compared from your pervious band and also compared to other ex members new band (ex Blink 182 Tom DeLonge's new band Angels & Airwaves). Plus 44 up a good fight but fall short a little. This album still shows slight signs of the pop punk routes while some songs on this record has more an electronic sound and others have an acoustic. ...like their trying to be something their not. Their not trying to win their old blink fans back. It kicks off with the up beat and poppy "lycanthrope" and your think oh no not 40 mins of every other band on myspace. But you listen on... You get to tracks like "little death", "155" and "weatherman" which in my views are that little bit special. ...remaining members of Blink 182 when Tom Delonge left the band and I personally think that the band is better without him. Mark Hoppus has a very strong talent for singing and I think that he makes the songs sound great. Songs on this albums are "Lycanthrope", "Baby Come On", "When Your Heart Stops Beating", "Little Death", "155", "Lillian", "Cliffdiving", "Interlude", "Weatherman", "No, It Isn't", "Make You Smile" and "Chapter 13". My favorites ...
...and "155", although the other songs are also very well written. The drum and guitar beats in the background of most of these songs are extremely good, making the tune very memorable. I would highly recommend that you buy this album if you liked Blink 182, if you're a fan of +44 or if you are just generally interested in punk music. ...

When (+44) first came about, Mark and Travis forming this super group, you expected brilliance, and you expected to be blown away the same way Blink, Box Car and AVA did. However, this album can fall flat in places. The opening song starts off as you would expect, power chords and abstract drumming, and it certainly draws you in. However, songs like Lillian and Weatherman are boring, and lifeless, and this is disappointing from such a talented musician ...
...like No It Isn't and When Your Heart Stops Beating are superb, fantastic catchy pop rock that leaves you wanting, but you don't get much more, and thats the problem.
