Plan B - Who Needs Action When You Got Words
Firstly this album is very very rude and the parental advisory sticker should be taken notice of. Some of the words, lines and innuendos in this album make the contents of many other 'explicit' albums seem fit for kids. However with that besides this album is very good and best of all its British. Plan B's lyrical ability, in my opinion, stand him out against not only other English rappers but also most ... ...lyrics. Is about a girl who gets murdered by her parents due to religious differences and such. Quite a slow beat but Plan B's rapping is fast and seems to heighten the feeling throughout.
Where Ya From - decent song
No More Eattin' - Takes an original point of view for rappers, B talks about how he got bullied and his bike got stolen, his step dad was mad about his lack of 'man hood', the song goes on to explain how from them on he became 'hard ...

Its a well written and performed album, Ben Drew clearly has talent in abundence. Plan B is an unusual and very talented artist. He has taken rap and mixed it with aucostic guitars. Taking it in another direction. His music is quite deep and might seem outwardly angry, easily misunderstood. Which is the case with alot of rap but even more so here. Songs like "kids" might make some think he is promoting or encouragaing violence amoungst the youth, but in truth he is trying to englighten the youth, showing them the stupidity of ... ...with all his songs. Generally, as with many rappers, he tells tales of the hard life lived by the poor, unforunates, growing up in underprivileged, deprived areas, but there is alot more too it. This album speaks volumes and tells a thousand tales. Everything from the voilent mentatily of "kids today" to the broken messy life of his mother, to a recounting of the loss of a good friend.
Its deep, dark and moving from beginning to end. A true classic.
