These girls are going to go down in history and this CD shows why. The writings on the wall is absolutely fantastic. On the CD there are a variety of excellent tracks, ranging from beautiful ballads (Stay) to uptempo dancetracks (Jumpin' Jumpin') to summery sounding upbeat songs (Bug-a-Boo). The album has succesfully given these girls the status as one of the best R'n'B groups around at the moment and I personally think that they are going to be around ... Read review

Destinys child is been around for quite a long time now, and although is seems they were gone for a while they certainly came back in style, this new album is JUMPIN!! With the cool fast lyrics the upbeat tempo who could ask for more, the song writing is imaginitive like Bills Bills Bills, and Bugaboo. This is the best R'n'B album I have ever bought! I did have to take some stick from my mates when i first bought it but after listening to it just a few times they were also turned, the singles that have been released are catchy and relaxing and the other trakcs on the album are also quality. i would recommend anybody to go out and buy this album today regardless of what music they are in to because it is simply one of the best R'n'B albums in ... Why do American R'n'B groups insist on making their albums so long? Six tracks could easily be culled from the 17 (!) on offer here to make a much tighter set. Well, I guess you can always use your CD player to program out the rubbish ones, so this isn't too big a criticism. You almost certainly will not be able to sit still whilst listening to this record. With pure r'n'b tracks, incorporating both slower ballads and faster, upbeat songs, this suits people whatever mood they're in. I'm a big fan of Destiny's Child and really like this album of thier's, it's a must for all R'N'B fans. This album includes songs such as Jumpin Jumpin Say My Name Bills Bills Bills Bug-a-Boo So Good All these made it in to the charts and were smash hits. Destiny’s Child album Writings on the Wall, is one of the most upbeat, and lyric albums around that would put TLC to shame. From the edgey Jumpin Jumpin to the sultry scorcher Where’s you go, this album is a sure-fire winner. Advantages: 17 good tracks. Has both intro and outro, and is generally a good album.
Disadvantages: Two versions, and I got the one with four LESS tracks, so be cautious, check the back cover.

I bought the earlier version of the album which has only 17 tracks. There are another four on the bonus album, which includes 'Independant Women'. I didn't actually buy my album even a week before the new one came out. Which annoyed me, because those four tracks make a lot of difference. Though with the sensational hits 'Bills, Bills, Bills', 'Bug A Boo', Jumpin, Jumpin' and 'So Good' feature I cant help but feel a little disappointed. I would ... Read review
