Saw Ill Nino on Saturday at the o2 academy in the midlands, what can I say but an absolutely breathtaking concert.
There were 4 bands on the night with God Forbid playing an hour set. I had heard of this band but by name only, their music is very dark and very anti trend which is what they try to get across in almost all of their songs.They played around half the songs off this album, all the main classics and a few songs that I had not heard before, as I was close to the speakers I could only hear the vocals of the songs I knew otherwise it was unaudiable with all the screaming and low tuned guitars.
The drum solo at the end was very latin inspired and was a nice mix of acoustic guitars and heavy riffs all night.It was a great gig and I have only just got my hearing back fully, worth a see for £12.50, the album will not disappoint either.
