Advantages: Great Country Music Disadvantages: Not Great If You Don't Like Country
I love proper country music; the crofts of my home in the Highlands of Scotland are only a stones throw away from the dirt farms of the mid-west and southern US. There has always been a big country following in Scotland one could argue that the music has similar chord structures to that of proper Scots folk music or that the themes of desperation, social isolation, religion, suicide and loyal dogs that get killed in horrific accidents strike a chord in the Scottish psyche, but I am not going to go down that path here???..
This is the Steve Earle who did that song called Copperhead Road and upset a few folks by releasing a song written from the point of view of a Taliban fighter. What a bad boy but I think that if you cannot see the other sides point of view then you will never reach them, unless you blow them into tiny little bits ...
Advantages: Great sound, bargain price, sleek look. Disadvantages: The kids listening to happy hardcore at the back of the bus might find out.
with some nice accessories ? a little draw-string pouch to keep it protected while you take it out and about, along with a USB charger.
?Pump out your tunes with this crisp clear acoustics that will easily fill up a room and elevate the mood of everyone around you? says the box of the X-mini II. Well, whether it elevates my mood depends on whether it?s being used to play pap or not, but there?s no denying that for the size and price, it undoubtedly delivers on the sound. Considering what you?ve paid, you?re never going to get top of the range audio, but this is by far the best you?ll get. The Revolutionwillnotbetelevised, but you?ll sure as hell hear it. ...
Advantages: Spooky, mad movie Disadvantages: A bit long
There Willbe Blood - I think this title is very fitting for this movie. It's like a warning, there willbe blood and oh my gosh, how definitely true this statement was.
There Willbe Blood is a 2007 film staring Daniel Day Lewis in the lead role. He actually went on to win the 2007 Academy Award for best Actor for his portrayal of Daniel Plainview. Overall the film was nominated for eight Academy Awards.
The film is set in California at the turn of the 20th century and follows the fortunes of oil prospectors. Daniel and his son begin a ruthless quest for wealth and oil field domination and are determined that nothing will get in their way.
The film starts out quite eerily in setting the scene. In fact for the first 15 minutes or so there is no talking and the only sounds we hear is from the spooky cello and piano music ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Gil Scott-Heron (vocals); Hubert Laws (alto saxophone, flute); Brian Jackson (piano); David Spinoza, Burt Jones (guitar); Ron Carter, Gerry Jemott (bass); Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (drums); Eddie Knowles, Charlie Saunders (percussion). Includes liner notes by Neil Tesser. All tracks have been digitally remastered. Unwittingly, Scott-Heron was one of the first rappers. The title track is a strong attack on the way the racist media can manipulate and distort. Cutting and humorous, he gets to the heart of the matter and his literate delivery explains why he wrote his first book at the age of 12. What is not often addressed is his fabulous voice, a cross between Mark Murphy and Jackie Wilson, full of soul, especially emotive on 'The Get Out Of The Ghetto Blues'. He has chosen to use his voice to educate, and his crystal-clear diction (he is a regular public performer of his work at poetry readings) makes listening wholly pleasurable.
