REVOLVER WAS THE TURNING POINT FOR THE BEATLES MUSIC AND CREATIVITY. BEFORE, THEY WERE WRITING SIMPLE LOVE SONGS, BUT NOW THEY WERE WRITING ABOUT LIFE EXPERIENCES AND DRUG TAKING. IT HAS SONGS LIKE THE CLASSIC TAXMAN, THE BEAUTIFUL ELEANOR RIGBY, THE PSYCHEDELIC TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS, AND THE CHILDRENS FAVOURITE YELLOW SUBMARINE. REVOLVER DIDN'T JUST CHANGE THE BEATLES MUSIC, IT CHANGED THE WHOLE WORLD OF MUSIC. POP MUSIC WOULD NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.THE ALBUM COVER WAS ALSO GROUNDBREAKING, NOT STICKING WITH THE BORING SIMPLE PORTRAIT, BUT USING PEN DRAWINGS, ALONG WITH DISTORTED PHOTOS. REVOLVER HAS BEEN VOTED THE GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME, AND I THINK DESERVEDLY SO. SGT.PEPPERS WAS A GOOD ALBUM, BUT REVOLVER HAD THAT EDGE AND QUALITY THAT HASN'T BEEN EQUALLED SINCE. THANK THE LORD FOR REVOLVER!!!
