Advantages: Ease of Installation, total package, easy solutoin to legislation Disadvantages: annoying minor faults
Parrot Rhythm N Blue.
I bought this unit on Ebay just over two months ago, paying about £140.00 including delivery. Purchased essentially I felt this would be the easiest way to comply with the new legislation regarding use of mobile phones in a car, and having in the past bought manufacturers fitted options was fed up having to buy a new car kit whenever I upgraded my telephone. One of the main reasons for my choice in this instance was ?ease of fitting? ? the unit comes with standard ISO connections, so providing the vehicle is less than about fifteen years old it should be a ten minute job fitting the stereo. I currently drive a 1996 Landrover Discovery with the correct connections so the most complicated procedure is fixing the microphone, again supplied with the kit.
At this stage it is probable useful to point out that ...
Advantages: well done pictured Disadvantages: pretty depressing view
Stephen Fears has rightfully been known as a very effective director who has always been able to give excellent producing and directorial films, producing innovative and fairly entertaining films. ?Dirty prettythings? does the trick again in this absorbing drama about the world of London illegal immigrants and British asylum seekers. Final message of the film can be interpreted as a political message to all future immigrants. Having David Byrne singing it?s tune on the end of the film, telling maybe, that USA government treats immigrants better. Well if I would have some David Byrne, waiting for me there, I would gladly immigrate to USA. But, frankly, I don?t think so. Wherever immigrant decides to try his luck on, it is the same, apart perhaps Australia and New Zealand, who still has a decent living asylum to offer. However, not ...
Advantages: Contines the Libertines legacy with style Disadvantages: Could linger in the shadow of past greatness
formed from the ashes of the Libertines is inevitable. In my opinion, Waterloo to Anywhere trumps anything that Doherty and Babyshambles have produced over the past few years. The maturity of the lyrics, and the punchy, sweaty musical style of Dirty PrettyThings is far superior to Doherty's pseudo-poetic ramblings and mediocre instrumental arrangements. Although, some are bound to disagree....
Overall, if I were to sum this album up in 3 words, I'd have to say:
Lyrical; Drunken; Passionate.
These qualities make this more than the average album in today's industry where over-production and manafacturing hits are commonplace.
Any fan of the Libertines would do well to buy this album, as it ranks up there with the best of the Libertines work, and at times, even surpasses them. ...
