era. Before Barak Obama they would get their inspiration from sport, music and the movies, the basketball feel good flick atop of that particular pile at the multiplexes, and I think its fair to say there's been quite a few of those B-Ball movies over the decades, Americas foremost black acting talent only too willing to be in them, an essential part of any 'right on' brothers acting CV.
The world's coolest dude, Samuel L Jackson, is one of those brothers in question here; Coach Carter earning MTV films its biggest ever opening weekend at $25 million dollars. Black Americans love basketball because it's nearly always the classic rags to riches trip and one of the very few styles of film you can have an all black cast and soundtrack to, let alone the inspiration of the sport that offers one of the few ways out of the ghetto coming over ...

Advantages: access to well kept pop secret Disadvantages: no hit singles
The name Paul Haig is almost always absent from any eighties hall of fame ,certainly from the electro pop perspective which prevailed at the time of this release in July 83,but for those in the know who might have spent some of their hard squandered student grant on the perennial and seemingly eternal N>M>E the name Paul Haig held a god like status for fans of Scottish indie legends Josef .K of whom Paul Haig was lead singer and founding member, this unique and groundbreaking record was Haigs first solo release, a full two years after the demise of Josef K.
To the untrained or indeed uninterested ear "Rhythm of Life" on first listen sounds standard fayre for its time ,with nothing to distinguish it from its then comtemporaries, the references and similarities abound, from Heaven 17 to the Associates from Gang of Four to the Thompson ...
Advantages: Variety of challenges and loads of unlockable content. Disadvantages: Kiddie graphics and no multiplayer, but hey, it fits!
Rhythm paradise is an rhythm based game which has MANY OBJECTIVES, but the main one is to feel the beat and the music or else you will end up hating the title. You have to use your stylus to hit the correct beat at the correct time in the correct rhythm.
There are three controls in the game - Tap, Tap and hold and Flick (slide the stylus fast across the screen).
When you first start the game you will have to enter your details and register a profile which can save your progress automatically.
Every time you insert you start the game from scratch or restart it, you have to flick the screen in order to begin, and you have to flick it fast enough or else the funny character will tell you it is not fast enough, which may get annoying to some people (not me). I personally love everything about this game!
so why do you think the game has ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Regina Carter (violin); Richard Bona (vocals, acoustic guitar, electric bass, percussion); Cassandra Wilson (vocals); Romero Lubambo (acoustic guitar); Rodney Jones (guitar); Werner "Van" Gierig, Kenny Barron (piano); Peter Washington (bass); Lewis Nash (drums); Mayra Casales (percussion). Recorded at Avatar Studios, New York, New York on November 24 & 30 and December 8, 1998. Includes liner notes by Greg Tate. This is violinist Carter's third album, and her first for Verve. On it, she makes good on the title's promise, exploring the rhythms of not just jazz, but Latin music, reggae, R&B, bossa nova and more. Things open with the furious hard bop of "Lady Be Good," on which Carter displays her formidable chops and makes plain her debt to jazz violin godfather Stuff Smith. Things take a more modern turn on the moody, reggaefied version of the Temptations classic "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone," which features a typically sultry guest vocal from Cassandra Wilson. Carter's rhythmic adventurousness is further highlighted by the syncopated, upbeat Latin groove of "Mojito" and the propulsive African flavor of "Mandingo Street." Throughout RHYTHMS OF THE HEART, Carter proves herself to be a well-rounded player, rooted in the jazz verities but modern and inquisitive enough to seek out new avenues of expression.
