Mattessons Hot & Spicy Smoked Pork Sausage
Packaging
~~~~~~~
A more noticeable packet than the ordinary smoked sausage with firey ?Hot and Spicy? emblazoned across the front.
Promising a hot sausage, you will not be disappointed.
It shows the large sausage contained within. Once inside the sausage is further wrapped in a vac sealed plastic sleeve.
Costs vary but on average it will set you back around £1.50
Smell and Look
~~~~~~~~~~~
Even before opening the vac pac you can smell the sausagey pork, delish. When the Vacuum pack is opened you are immediately hit by the aroma of a deep tangy and spicy smell.
The sausage itself looks massive, in its horseshoe shape. It is firm and gratefully looks appetising; after all they say the first bite is with the eye.
Once cut into it actually looks ...
a national newspaper - The Daily Mail. The Daily Mail bought the rights to the film and gave it away as a freebie to people who bought the newspaper. Once opened I was met with 8 sausages which are a light pink colour, almost a little grey, and these are all pretty similar in size.
I actually used my sausages without the skins on them and mixed with sage & onion stuffing as an accompaniment to my roast dinner. I cut off the top and then I pulled out the sausage meat and mixed it with the stuffing that I had already prepared. I then flattened it ...
