What more can you say about this fantastic album. This is Duran Duran,s 2nd album. Its got everything on it and a whole range of songs. From pop to rock to slow. Shows the guys at their best and a lovely looking album cover too. I got bought this album when I was 10 years old and I have been a huge fan every since. Everything Duran does is great. They made some great videos for this album too which even today are well known. Rio and Save a prayer. I recently saw the guys play in Birmingham and the songs are timeless. Some of my personal favourites off the album are Lonley in your nightmear, Hold back the rain, the chauffeur. This is defently a must have album for anyone new discovering the joys of Duran Duran. IN 2001 they remastered the cd and it now has videos to watch on the disc.This album defently sounds a lot different in style to the 1st which was when the guys were in the new romantic phase. Simon wrote hold back the rain for John Taylor when he was going threw a bad phase with the drink and drugs. Its very gard personally to read in to simons lyrics as for me the mean one thing but for someone else they mean another. Hungry like the wolf is a rocky number. For anyone reading this review and not having any idea about duran. Simon le bon is the singer and John Taylor is bass, Roger Taylor is drums and Andy Taylor is lead guitar, Nick Rhodes is keyboards. None of the Taylors are related either.

Music reviews are some of the hardest to do for a starter, so a brave go, but i didnt find it too helpful because i honestly dont know much about this band, i find it a good idea to describe the tracks moods, good bits to listen to in each song, maybe meanings behind songs. As I have said before I am sorry I cant rate your review higher but there is very little information there. Imagine that readers know absolutely nothing about the band or their music and tell us a little more information about the background and type of music they do. Also with music albums a personal input about how the music sounds to you how you feel when listening to it what style the songs take how they sound. DO drop me a message in my guestbook if you do expand it more so I can come back and rerate you.. We were all first time reviewers at some time so we do understand how difficult that first review is but if you read other reviews and get to know how they are written it will be beneficial when writing your own.
