This album is a true classic. Yngwie J Malmsteen fuses melodic classical phrases, using musical devices such as pedal tones and minor harmonic runs. The sheer speed and accuracy of the guitar work on this album is amazing; this album has never been matched and until I release my solo album it never will ;-). Seriously, whether you'd want to listen to the inspirational passages of music, or rock out to the shredding, this album is a MUST. Only 2 of the tracks have vocals, but I think the album has acheived the right balance. Any more and it would hide the real focus - the guitar work, but still has 2 great songs to rock out to. Best Yngwie album.
Reccommended tracks: all of them!!

I'm not a preachy person but I recommend reading a few other reviews to get some idea about how to add depth to your opinion. It is definately a good start but you just need a little bit more information to carry it as a review, otherwise you might find people will give bad marks. Good subject matter though and as I say a very good style but just try and develop it a bit. See you around, Steve
Advantages: The rise of neo-classical metal, great guitar playing, fine vocal performances Disadvantages: Production values ain't great, inaccessible for some
