Advantages: Amazing writing, full of memorable moments Disadvantages: None
The Simpsons - Classics - Go toHollywood is a collection of four episodes including some new, and some classic ones. The episodes included are "When You Dish Upon a Star", "Fear of Flying", "Krusty Gets Kancelled" and "Flaming Moes".
"When You Dish Upon a Star" has Homer, through some bizarre accident, becoming the personal assistant to Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, who are staying in a secluded home in Springfield. After he becomes fired for telling his friends about who he's working for, he launches "the museum of Hollywood jerks" with various undergarments etc. With all celebrities in The Simpsons, they are never afraid of poking fun at each other, and both have some good lines together. Ron Howard makes another appearance and is again hilarious, especially when he steals Homer's film idea and the "Happy Days" theme plays ...
Advantages: Looks fantastic, acting is great, interesting story Disadvantages: Slightly predictable towards the end
For such a famous director, Sam Mendes has made very few films. Only two in fact; the multi-Oscar winning American Beauty and this 2002 follow-up, RoadTo Perdition. Although follow-up isn't really the right term, as this is completely different. The story tells of a hit man for the Irish mafia, Mike Sullivan (played by Tom Hanks). He and his two sons have a close relationship with the godfather John Rooney (played by Paul Newman). Sullivan keeps his job a secret from his ...
Advantages: The Royal Rumble is a great all brand pay per view Disadvantages: Some downers on this DVD
of the ring, it was decided the match would continue, Batista picking up the victory at the 50 minute mark.
Marks out of 10: 8.5
Still one of the best matches of the year, there were some very good spots in there and some great work between the now Late, Great Eddie Guerrero and real life best friend, Chris Benoit. There couldn't have been much of a better start between the Angle/Michaels feud which really was a good way to start the RoadtoHollywood!
Extras: In the way of extras, this DVD is more than a little sparse with nothing much to really bother with. There are a few interviews and just the basics, nothing compared to the extras on the Royal Rumble 2003 DVD.
Design: The packaging of the DVD is very good and quite different for a WWE product. As it was to take place in Fresno, California, it had a West Side Story theme as ...
