Advantages: Fabulous rock album with every song you can think of
Disadvantages: not big enough to get all the goodies on it!

I bought this for my Father for Xmas 2006. I did however have a good listen and went out and bought the same album a week or so later ! it has every classic rock hit you can think of and those you cant! it has black sabbath, and even whitesnake on there for a little rock ballad or 2! I can hardly remember the artists or even the songs on the album if im truthful but its one of those wonderful albums that you know every song as you must have heard it a thousand times on the radio or when your dad was driving you to the seaside as a kid for a holiday and mum was asleep!!!!! I play it every night on the way home from work and sing along to the disgust of other people on the roads, and sometimes people in the car, recently noone wants a lift!!! School of rock soundtrack

Advantages: really good rock songs
Disadvantages: none

I love the school of rock film and thought all the songs they used were great as i do like my rock and roll, the old classics and the new. I watched the speacil features on the dvd and found out that Jack Black himself chose most of the songs to go on the soundtrack so knew it was gunna be good. It includes the songs: 1) The who- substitute 2) No vacancy- fight 3) The doors- Touch me 4) Cream- Sunshine of your love (classic good tune, you will recognise the beggining of it) 5) Led Zeppelin- immigrant song 6) The black keys- set you free (my fav tune on this album) 7) Stevie nicks- Edge of seventeen 8) No vacancy- Heal me, im heartsick 9) The Darkness- growing on me 10) T.Rex- Ballroom of mars 11) The Ramones- Bonzo goes to Bitburg (really good classic tune) 12) Wylde Ratttz- T.V eye It also includes some ...

This rocks - add it to your Disney CD portfolio

Advantages: Great to listen to - one for all the family
Disadvantages: None

The soundtrack to the movie Camp Rock which follows a group of wannabe music stars on their summer camp - aptly named Camp Rock. The CD has 12 songs from the movie which also features the Jonas brother (Joe). Faves from this Cd are We Rock, Gotta Find You, Who Will I Be? This is Me and Here I Am. There's a good miix of genres but I do think its more biased to girls buying. Put it in the car and you will feel like Thelma and Louise as you rock along to this. A few of the tracks take a couple of times to get into but as a transition CD to move on the tastes of your children from cbeebies and nursery rhymes - this is a good safe option as with any of the Disney CDs. ...
