The album, Classics Live 2 was released in April 1986 under the label Columbia Records. It is the third live album that was released and was
produced by Paul O'Niell and the members of Aerosmith.
In 1986, Aerosmith became popular again after their collaboration with the rap group Run DMC and did a remake of their 1975 hit Walk This Way. Aerosmith now worked for Geffen Records however, and Columbia who controlled Aerosmith's back catalogue of recordings ... ...live material. So - the Classics live album was produced.
Classics Live II follows on from the first Classics Live album, which was deemed as actually nothing special (although there were a couple of tracks on it that were good including an unreleased track). Queen Live at Wembley Stadium is a 2 disc CD.
The first Cd starts with One vision followed by Tie your mother down, In the Lap of the Gods, Seven seas of rhye, Tear it up, A kind of magic, Under pressure, another one bites the dust, who wants to live forever, I want to break free, Impromptu, Brighton rock solo and finishes with Now I'm here. Each of the songs lasts between 2.12 minutes and 6.20 minutes.
The secomd CD offers ... ...minutes. This is the live recording of the Queen concert and the crowd can be heard throghout the CD which really does make the listening experience more enjoyable. I personally feel that Queen sang better when on stage than in the studio as this was Freddies most favourite place.
The cover for the CD has a picture of Freddie on stage at Wembley posing in his unique way and the back cover has the 2 CD track lists and smaller photos of the other ...

...talent on their chosen instrument. Live at Wembley is basically a greatest hits album with the added bonus of being completely live. I know there are a lot of people who don't enjoy live albums as much as they enjoy studio albums... I'm one of them. But with a band like Queen passing the opportunity to hear them live in their prime is a HUGE mistake. The quality of their performance is perfectly conveyed through this CD. The fact that they were so ... ...live performance can make you feel as though you're there in the crowd back in '86. It's a complete must.

[***] - Gets me air-drumming, air-guitaring and singing along to the track. 1. Dream Brother Slow to start, and though in the buildup there is some laidback vocal improvisation, Jeff is having to squeeze hard for some of those falsetto notes. [**] 2. I Woke Up In A ... ...heavy, and the riffs dirty. [***] 3. Mojo Pin Solid but for the final bridge where Jeff slips into sheepish singing - however he does come on strongly for the finale. [**] 4. Lilac Wine As if Buckley has had too much to drink here, what with the guitar losing its way and his vocals being reduced to a croak at the end, though the improvisation in the singing is as strong as it is soulful.
