With her insanely catchy music to her eccentric sense of style and equally eccentric personality it’s been impossible to ignore Lady Gaga this past year and now she’s back her new 8 track album The Fame Monster but is it any good?

... ...a few ballads on The Fame so I’m glad that she’s realised her niche with this album and kept the ballads down to a bare minimum. After the brilliant start to the album it seems to go downhill with Alejandro in which she starts the song speaking to her supposed lover ‘Alejandro’ the song is a mid-tempo dance number but I feel that this is a disappointment as it’s more annoying that catchy whereas her previous songs were just annoyingly catchy! ...self and Jon seems to have all the hunger that made him the star attraction he finds himself to be. 'I Am' acts as an out cry to a loved one who doesn't quite realise; ("I'm there to be that someone, when you think that no-one is there to hold your hand, I am"). Again, it's one of the albums strong points, which is a statement I could technically make with regards to each song that's come before, barring 'Last Cigarette'. It's easy to see that the ... ...hard-hitting rocker that again, could have served a far greater purpose than a mere 'bonus track'. The accompanying DVD showcases Bon Jovi at their finest , rocking Atlantic City with the likes of 'Everyday', 'Miss Fourth Of July' and 'The Radio Saved My Life Tonight' the picture and sound quality are superb, leaving me with the feeling that 5 live tracks just aren't enough *sigh* From the band that brought us the timeless classics 'New Jersey' and ...
...songs. This is more than just a "best of" box set - in fact: this is no "best of" box set - this is the history. It`s made up of demos, live tracks and hard to find stuff (peel sessions, remixes) - all of this an ideal synopsis of their work. All in all this is essential for any Pogues fan, and of course highly recommended for any music fan - especially so if Irish Folk music is your liking.

...her earlier stuff on The Fame album. It reminds me of a summer track, listening to it whilst just chilling on the beach. It's not as catchy as the other songs but it does bring something different to this album.
8) Teeth - To be honest when i first listened to this song i thought 'What the Hell is she doing?!?' Its hard to describe this song. It reminds me of a song that would be performed in a cabaret bar and it really is an old-fashioned number. ... ...Dangerous album. He uses old school beats and strange sounding vocals to create a unique song for Lady GaGa. After a few listens to this song i found myself clicking my fingers and tapping my feet to the beat. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform this live when i go see her in concert in 2010.

Advantages: Excellent, witty lyrics with a decent range of style. Jarvis is just too cool.. Disadvantages: No real 'big hitter' of a track that you'd find on a Pulp album if your a more general listener
...of the 90's. Further Complications is Jarvis' attempt towards a more indie Brit rock album which still oozes the class of a brilliant frontman. The title track is certainly a great opener, catchy and witty which pretty much sums up the rest of the Album. 'Angela' is one of those songs that will get in your head until people end up asking you why the hell you keep saying Angela in a funny accent and who the hell she is! other examples of this raspy ... ...tracks; not the sort that will come on your iPod shuffle and you'll skip. There are more soleful elements to the album too; Discosong and Hold Still, Hold Still especially as one of those typical 'I can barely hear him but it sounds so good' Cocker songs. It's probably become obvious that I mention nearly every song as 'Solid' but this is definately where this album comes in and it does not really contain a big chart hitting song. Then again, who ...
