50 years of Hit Singles - wow!!!

Advantages: variety of songs
Disadvantages: none!!

At first, I was very wary of this CD as I thought it would be full of forgotton one hit wonder tracks that would only appeal to world war two veterans and five year old children - but I was very, very wrong. There is something for everybody on this compilation, like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' for the plethra of Queen fans, 'Teenage Kicks' by The Undertones for all the Punk fans. Plus classics that fit all genres like 'Imagine' by John Lennon, 'Do They Know ...
...'Angels' by Robbie Williams. Other artists include Steps, Kylie, David Bowie, Elton John, Soft Cell and Blondie, to name but a few. The compilation takes a journey through time from the very start of the singles chart to the more recent years of its existance, spanning classic disco stompers and moving tear-jerkers, this is a truly fantastic compilation that is more than likely to bring back some memories!!! Feeder's Greatest Hits

Advantages: All the videos and most of the band's best work in one package
Disadvantages: Does not contain Paperfaces, the band's best song

...the standard edition of the singles, but also contains a dvd of all the bands videos. The original cd itself is very strong, and, being a singles collection, keeps a high standard of songwriting throughout. The only disapointment is it lacks all the singles (with the band cutting out all their least favourites) and so misses some of the band's earlier work. However, these songs are contained on the dvd. The single version of Paperfaces is the outstanding ...
...videos, from the highly original and comic Just a Day, to the serious Just The Way I'm Feeling, to the very cheap (but amusing to watch) early videos. This package itself is excellent, and due to the high quality of the songs, is one that would be recommended to both fans wanting the dvd and non-fans wanting to be introduced to Feeder alike. ...

GaGa still brings the Excitement!

Advantages: 8 Great different sounding tracks
Disadvantages: Always leaves you wanting more & then you have to wait for her next masterpiece album.

Why it may not be Pulp, Jarvis maintains his solid solo catalogue

Advantages: Excellent, witty lyrics with a decent range of style. Jarvis is just too cool..
Disadvantages: No real 'big hitter' of a track that you'd find on a Pulp album if your a more general listener
