Aerosmith greatest hits or greatest ****s?

Advantages: Brilliant, wonderful rock songs
Disadvantages: ...Erm...not for people who like dance music...misses their newer stuff

Take a Journey back to the eighties

...Oh, man. Journey's Greatest Hits. Back to the 80's we go. Back to mushy AOR, back to crushing power ballads. Conjures up images of a band wearing leather pants, curly perms and throwing (sorry throwin') shapes on stage, as thousands of people in the crowd do that stupid dancey/shuffle thingy that only Americans know how to do. "Journey, wooo, man they rock!!!" Considering this band, all of the above is true. Most people who've heard of the band ...
...jazz-rock outfit (as did their contemporaries Chicago) before morphing into a 1980's AOR corporate monster (as did their contemporaries Chicago) and having a drippy-looking singer with a high whiny voice (as did....OK you know who). There is one difference though....Journey came from San Francisco and Chicago came from, well, ummm, Chicago. Laugh if you will, but this is just sheer good fun. Take it from me there is nothing better than getting up ...

Aerosmith the truth

aerosmith rocks and the songs you get with this are 'amazing' (aerosmith song 'amazing') all of these songs are the best, unlike some albums that are one or two main songs that you like, this album is more for the rocky music listener so any R&B listeners, keep clear. my favourite is dont want to miss a thing, its brillaint, sad and brillaint. its especially good when in the car at 70mph or more (:d) or at home playing videos games or whatever. lyrics ...
...from there life but that dont matter becuase they rock. there are both fast rocky tunes as well as some slow sad songs but over all there rocky. aerosmith especially comes through when its on full blast. id give it 10/10 and its so cheap its silly. aerosmith are one of my favourite bands so when i got this i listened to them for month... almost non stop. thanks for reading and get it asap!! ...

Crazy nights and days

Advantages: Several of their best-ever tracks
Disadvantages: A few rather samey fillers

I tend to bracket Kiss, ZZ Top, and Bachman-Turner Overdrive together. ZZ Top have had two UK Top 10 singles, BTO one (much longer ago, admittedly). Kiss have had two as well, but a much longer chart career than either, stretching back to 1979. Most of the hits, plus a few near-misses which were successful in the US, and two new tracks, appear on this compilation. All three acts share common ground. Each made a handful of great singles which simultaneously ...
...but soon showed a rather slavish adherence to the formula which in turn made the albums sound pretty samey. Once you'd heard half a dozen different tracks by them, you probably didn't really need to hear any more. A 'best of' would surely be all by any of them you'd ever need in your collection. Having said that, I've always liked Kiss front man Paul Stanley's voice; he has that slightly desperate edge, that well-controlled semi-scream that sometimes ...
