An excellent album

Advantages: good songs
Disadvantages: just one cd, I wishe there were two or three

Some Might Say This Is Oasis' Crowning Glory

Advantages: Ten excellent tracks. Superb lyrics. Good booklet.
Disadvantages: Not sure of the value of the two mini tracks.

This album is a superb follow up to the debut "Definitely Maybe". There are 12 tracks two of which, the untitled songs 6 and 11, are really subtracks which either link the songs either side or lead in to the following track. The running time is, give or take a second, 50 minutes exactly. It contains four singles that all reached either number 1 or 2 in the UK singles charts and contains probably the band's best work alongside the aforementioned ...
...with a greater number of tracks on this album than on any of their other albums. I would say this album cemented Oasis' place as one of the very top acts of the era. The booklet contains some interesting portrait photos and also the lyrics although they do not appear in track running order, except for the opening and closing tracks which do appear in the anticipated places. ok i have to say i absolutely love this album i first brought it back in 1994 when i was 10 on tape and have had to replace it several times on cd due to over listening it. This album was a great way to introduce your band to the world, its catchy tunes that had lyrics relevant to its young listeners, which are still relevant today. Billie joe armstrong has it all great looks great voice great writing ability and he plays the guitar fantasticaly ...
...for success. song to listen to is pushing teeth a 60s influenced track that is catchy and will have you singing along for days. If you have only got into green day since american idiot i suggest you buy some of their early stuff. listen out for the hidden track at the end of the album, it will have you in stitches. ...

Depeche mode... Because?

Advantages: brilliant, entertaining

Well, i can say this brings music to my ears, a person jesus to me if you like, something most people would dislike nowadays, but for me, I love them, all over and all around, Depeche mode are a brilliant band for your entertainment and theyre fair in all aspects, unlike some bands, I think due to depeche mode being around a lot longer then some other bands, this is the gears to my ears, keeps me happy when i get down...
