An excellent album

Advantages: good songs
Disadvantages: just one cd, I wishe there were two or three

Well, i can say this brings music to my ears, a person jesus to me if you like, something most people would dislike nowadays, but for me, I love them, all over and all around, Depeche mode are a brilliant band for your entertainment and theyre fair in all aspects, unlike some bands, I think due to depeche mode being around a lot longer then some other bands, this is the gears to my ears, keeps me happy when i get down... Some Might Say This Is Oasis' Crowning Glory

Advantages: Ten excellent tracks. Superb lyrics. Good booklet.
Disadvantages: Not sure of the value of the two mini tracks.

This album is a superb follow up to the debut "Definitely Maybe". There are 12 tracks two of which, the untitled songs 6 and 11, are really subtracks which either link the songs either side or lead in to the following track. The running time is, give or take a second, 50 minutes exactly. It contains four singles that all reached either number 1 or 2 in the UK singles charts and contains probably the band's best work alongside the aforementioned ...
...with a greater number of tracks on this album than on any of their other albums. I would say this album cemented Oasis' place as one of the very top acts of the era. The booklet contains some interesting portrait photos and also the lyrics although they do not appear in track running order, except for the opening and closing tracks which do appear in the anticipated places. "Hello" is a rousing opening track and a great song. Not sure I would expect ...

A needle in the hay, but worth searching for.

Advantages: beautiful melodies, great guitarist, vocalist, acoustic
Disadvantages: if you are into dance, very upbeat music then this isn't for you.

I absolutely love Elliott Smith. He is one the most influential, beautifully talented acoustic artist around, and as a musician myself his songs have true meaning and inspriation. This self-titled album is soothing, and a great pleasure to listen to. It's less polished and commercial than his other albums, but still has some brilliant classics such as 'coming up roses' 'needle in the hay' 'clementine' 'southern belle' and so many more, I could go ...
