Trawling back through the depths of time I can just about remember buying this cd on the day it was released in 1989. I was (and still am) a big fan of Queen and I've recently been revisiting a few of the Queen cd's I own, by playing them in the car. One For Die Hard Bon Jovi Fans

Advantages: Fantastic twists on classic songs, Olivia d'Abo in Livin on a Prayer.
Disadvantages: May be a little too different for some fans.

...Love a Bad Name. However this album is a complete contrast to any other Bon Jovi album hence the title This Left Feels Right. The album released in 2003 and labelled Bon Jovis second greatest hits album is escentially 14 covers of some of their greatest hits done in an acoustic style with guest singers at times. ...opinion the best tracks on this album are Keep the Faith, Bad Name, Livin on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive and the fantastic Its My Life which i think is arguably better than the original track on the Crush album. However, i feel this album is for true die hard Bon Jovi fans as many may find the album too slow and not upbeat enough, but i think its a fantastic album and i think 99% of Bon Jovi fans will appreciate this album. ...

Review of This Left Feels Right (Special Edition) - Bon Jovi

New Millennium, New Album, Same Brilliance!

Advantages: Fantastic songs, classic Wishbone Ash guitar work, good variety, clear sound quality.
Disadvantages: Some songs carry a more simple and generic 'blues rock' feel...

This has to be one of my most played CDs by the mighty rock/prog/blues band Wishbone Ash. However, with Wishbone Ash albums, I find it hard to avoid at least some kind of comparison with the magnificent Argus of 1972, which many will cite as being THE definitive Wishbone Ash album... First thing to note, is that 2002's Bona Fide is not another Argus. However, the elements that made Argus so great - the beautiful melodies, the classic guitar harmonies, ...
...Bona Fide. The opening track, 'Almighty Blues' perhaps gives the wrong impression to start with. You may well think 'it's blues rock, nothing special'. But then we come to the middle of the song, and find over 2 minutes of spectacular 'real Wishbone Ash' instrumental, with climbing guitar harmonies and rockin' solos. Review of Bonafide (Special Edition) - Wishbone Ash

Made In Heaven

Advantages: A moving, emotional and magnificent finale.
Disadvantages: It's the last ever Queen album

Made In Heaven is the final, and some would say finest, 'proper' Queen album ever to be released. It contains music from 1980 (It's a Beautiful Day) right through to 1991, the year that Freddie Mercury left us. It took four years to complete as Brian, Roger and John fought with their emotions to complete Queen's final album without their 'greatest and most beloved member'. But despite Freddie's suffering, this is an 'up' album. It starts off with ...
...Game album, and continues with Made in Heaven. This was originally a Freddie solo single but was given a rock make-over. The same applies to I was Born to Love You later in the album. Let Me Live has definite gospel influences and sees Freddie share the lead vocal with Roger and Brian. This was a Top 10 hit in 1996. GaGa still brings the Excitement!

Advantages: 8 Great different sounding tracks
Disadvantages: Always leaves you wanting more & then you have to wait for her next masterpiece album.

...her earlier stuff on The Fame album. It reminds me of a summer track, listening to it whilst just chilling on the beach. It's not as catchy as the other songs but it does bring something different to this album. 8) Teeth - To be honest when i first listened to this song i thought 'What the Hell is she doing?!?' Its hard to describe this song. It reminds me of a song that would be performed in a cabaret bar and it really is an old-fashioned number. ...
...Dangerous album. He uses old school beats and strange sounding vocals to create a unique song for Lady GaGa. After a few listens to this song i found myself clicking my fingers and tapping my feet to the beat. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform this live when i go see her in concert in 2010.
