Frances The Mute is the second studio album from the Mars Volta. The band is the brainchild of the former At The Drive-In members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler Zavala.
The album, which is only 5 tracks long but runs for over 70 minutes, is based on the diaries of Jeremy Ward, who was the band's audio artist until his untimely death.

Advantages: If you are a fan, this is a must have Disadvantages: Rush has stooped to a new low
...So what is Feedback? Feedback is an album about cover songs. What are cover songs? They are songs done by classic artist. In this case they are given a Rush twist. The songs on this album are the songs the boys(as they are referred to by fans at fanboards)listened to in their youth and eventually led to, and inspired, what is Rush today! I started wondering if the talents of the Professor lyrisist had cease to exist. If I were to look at this album ... ...After the tour, Rush is suppose to work on yet another studio album. This may hold the key to Rush's downfall or revival. Either they have reached rock bottom with Feedback and can only go up from here, or most impartial fans may say, "How low can you go?!" ...
