...with all albums it took me a few listens to get into it. From there i learnt every song on the album on guitar, i even attempted on drums. The album was that good arguably it became an obssession. It also had a strong political view in it and therefore really caught my eye as a mature album. I'm not moving on from this amazing album!

Advantages: Catchy tunes, amazing band, never get boring
Disadvantages: The cover art isnt exactly amazing

I really like this album because the songs are absolutely amazing and never get boring, no matter how often I listen to them (and believe me, i listen to them a lot!). Some of their most well known songs are on this album, including Dirty Little Secret, and the other songs on the album are of equally high quality. Advantages: Plenty of great tunes to keep you listening
Disadvantages: Obvious lack of some classics that weren't singles

This is a great compilation that charts the development and journey of the Clash from their early days as hedonistic punks, to their later days of commercial success in the US. There are loads of great tunes on this album, and one can but wonder why none of them were UK Top Ten Hits during the band's lifetime. ...an avowed Clash fan, you probably own several Clash CDs already, and therefore perhaps you may find this album an unneccesary addition to your collection. Also, to get a true reflection of the Clash, one must also consider the quality of many album-only tracks which aren't featured on this compliation for obvious reasons.
