The flute is excellent

Advantages: Agressive lyrics, food for thought

Systematic chaos

Advantages: Cohesive offering, great instrumentalists
Disadvantages: the self indulgence is not to everyones tastes

dream theaters 9th studio album and their first with roadrunner records has alot riding on it. Being signed to roadrunner means that dream theater will get their get music heard by many new potential fans so this had to be a good record. Intriguing Mix Of Prog Rock And Commercial Pop

Advantages: Great memorable tunes. Some fantastic masterpieces, e.g. title track.
Disadvantages: A few tracks will be too 'commercial' for fans, e.g. Most Toys.

Somewhere Else is Marillion's latest album from 2007 and it is clearly going in a more commercial, 'short song' direction, especially when compared to their previous double-CD epic 'Marbles'.
