Advantages: Some great Songs Disadvantages: Some terrible Songs
As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless!
Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best. Some of the good old classics!
Admittedly the other ones may have been slightly poorly chosen, but I assume it was some poor uneducated survey collector somewhere who ...
I was given this album for Christmas about 4 years ago, and at the time I only knew about two songs from guns n roses. But When i first played this album, I realised I knew most of the tracks.
It has some great hits on it such as 'welcome to the jungle,' 'Sweet child o mine,' 'Novemeber rain,' 'Knockin on heavens door,' 'Paradise city,' 'Live and let die,' and 'Sympathy for the Devil.'

Forming in Garden Grove, California in 1984; The Offspring are perhaps one of the best known and most well received Pop Punk bands of our time. During the mid 90's, it was bands such as The Offspring, Green Day and Rancid who revived a popular interest in Punk music in the U.S. - an interest which can be seen to have sustained to some extent ever since. Whilst Green Day went on to bigger and better things, having sold over 60 million records worldwide ... ...never enjoyed quite such an overwhelming commercial success (they've still sold over 32 million albums worldwide from the seven they have released however which isn't that bad really). The Offspring have always been a fantastic band, and having hated both Green Day's and Rancid's last albums, The Offspring remain the only band of the aforementioned three to have sustained my interest over the years.

...Avril Lavigne, Athelete then Aerosmith's greatest hits...well doesn't take a genius to work out which I'm going to take a listen to does it. The plastic cased cover has a nice that when the case is opend "flat" looks rather attractive, the inlay book is album history and credits (why no lyrics?) and the back of the case has the song list.
This world famous band, who've been together for well over 30 years, are considered one of the staple's of American ... ...(Mick Jagger lookey likey or what?) have managed a longevity many modern bands would be happy with and more so, they have been performing at a high level for the marjority of it.
So now back onto the album, the opening track "Dream on" was sampled by Eminem in his song "Sing for the moment", however unlike Eminem's song which goes the way of rap this is a piano based rock ballad. Considered as one of the bands 3 "signature songs" and in the top ...

I bought this album for myself when Elvis was coming back into fashion with the general masses when the single "A little less conversation" was released. You would think the title of the album being 30 No. 1's all the classics would be on there but i was sadly mistaken. Its funny to not find certain songs on there that you would definetly think were hits.
The cd is accompanied by a inner booklet that gives track listings and a small explanation ... ...them etc. At the back you have a section by which you can order Elvis merchandise. You can even apply for an Elvis credit card!!!
All the songs on the album are good but to get a better idea of how good Elvis really was you need to delve further than just a best of album. Maybe this album would suit someone who just wanted a brief dusting of elvis but fans will need to delve deeper. ...
