Advantages: Some good versions of songs Disadvantages: Some dross
I expected this album to contain the usual compilation of Christmas songs and especially those which sold enough to go platinum. How wrong I was. The sleeve contained many I hadn't heard of and it's not traditional by any means. This album from 2000 is worth borrowing but I don't think it's something to invest in.

...diverse artist and one of my favourite singers.
In 2000, following her first album, she released a Christmas album called 'My Kind Of Christmas'. Although it is now 7 years old, I only bought this last year...it was £5 in Virgin, bargain!
The album contains a mixture of modern Christmas songs along with some familiar old Christmas songs that I am sure you will recognise!
Christmas Time - This song has such a good beat to it, it's a proper 'modern' ... ...This is probably one of my favourites on the album
This Year - Another great contemporary Christmas song, the songs starts of quite slowly with a faint ringing of bells in the background - lik you usually find in Christmas songs! I like the lyrics to the song, 'This year, this Christmas, forever, and the weeks and the months go rushing by', it's more about the new year rather than just about Christmas.
