...of the labels new signings Amos Lee and his eponymous first release by them on the 14th of March 2005. My first question was, what’s the connection to Norah Jones?
Well firstly her bass player Lee Alexander has produced Amos’s first recording for the label and secondly Norah herself appears on the album playing keyboards and adding backing vocals to a couple of songs, in fact most of Norah’s band appear on this release.
But I ... ...while waiting to make it Amos waited on tables tended bar and performed at “open - mike” nights.
From the appearances singing and playing at the open nights he began to get a positive feedback on his performances so he took the plunge and made and released a 5 track E.P., this release made Amos one of the most talked about singers and emerging talents in the Philadelphia area this was according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, he went on ...
Advantages: Great voice, classic ballads Disadvantages: A couple of weaker links
...album was of course The Colour of my love. And here is my review of that album. **The Colour of my Love** Released on 9th November 1993, The Colour Of My Love went onto become the most successful Celine Dion album selling more than 16m copies worldwide which is even more than her previous two albums and all of her french releases up to 1993. The album features songwriting from the likes of David Foster, Walter Afanasieff and Diane Warren who all ... ...something. 15.) The Colour of My Love Now we finish on the title track, This has a movie soundtrack feel about it and this ballad is a great closer which gives this album yet another great ballad. Celine's voice is so clear and sounds almost effortless even at the top range. A superb ending to the album. **Overall** There are many artists who have that one album that is considered legendary when they never quite reach those heights again album wise ...
...Christmas day, Christmas songs…?
For these days I always liked listening the classic choruses like: Holy night, or Ave Maria, or Happy Christmas…and so on, as we all know that are so many other Special Christmas Songs.
These Are Special Times, I love it, I received it as a present last Christmas; knowing that I love Celine Dion's voice very much, my husband bought it for me from All Records Shop. I was so happy, because I wanted to have her album ... ...closing my eyes and enjoy these nice Christmas songs. Celine Dion for me has the most beautiful voice; it's not so strong but neither so soft, its just balanced, and instead of making you changing the CD to listen something else, makes you wishing for more, so as you could imagine, I wake up realizing that I'm listening to her songs from the morning till the night comes, and still thirsty to listen for more and more. As this album it's just for these ...

...This is a greatest hits album from a band who I have up there as one of the master bands of Rock and Roll music. I am sure some of this bands songs have appeared on movies as soundtracks. In addition the main reason I bought this album is because they included the song you better you bet as track number 16 as well as the classic song 'who are you'.
Largely because of these two classic tracks I bought the album as I wanted to listen to other tracks ... ...songs all of which were greatest hits by the Who. I will try to describe and detail as best as I can on a track by track basis.

Track 1: I can't explain: This perhaps is an interesting song, as it starts off in a punchy and forceful way on the guitar as well as having nice to hear lyrics. The song provided me with a pleasant mood to hear other songs on the list. Overall I find this a really great track that really ...
Of Whales and Woe is Les Claypool's first proper solo album. His name may not be familiar to all as he is better known as Primus' frontman bassist extraordinaire. This album was released back in 2006 on his own record label Prawn Song. (It was recently re-released on vinyl as of November 2009.) Not so much of the wacky lyrics on this album but a far more accessable feel than his previous works. Nearly every track featured here is bass-driven in his ... ...check this out! The arrangements of the other instruments like saxophone sitar, guitar and drums, etc sit really well together without drowning anything out. The songs themselves are really catchy and you'll find yourself singing along too by the end of it. There is even one track on here, Iowan Girl, written specially for his wife with some of the most amazing bass playing I have ever heard. There isn't a bad track on here in my opinion.
