Advantages: Has his great hit upside down.
Disadvantages: very childlike rythms and lyrics, not his usual acoustic relaxing music.

At first I wasn't really a big jack johnson fan, all of my mates were listening to him day in day out. After hearing it alot I started to enjoy it more and more. Now I am quite a big fan of his. However, when I bought this CD in the shop I thought bargain, quite cheap with his new hit song ''upside down''. When I got home and played it, that was the only song I could bring my ears to listening too. I was very disappointed with the songs and lyrics. ...
...nursery or at home because it makes you 3-5 year old sing along. Its not quite the same as all of his other albums, have a listen to some of his songs on you tube eg. 3 R's, lullaby, we're going to be friends, jungle gym and with my own tw hands before you buy this CD. ...

Screaming Down from Heaven

Advantages: Powerful song structure and the voice of an angel.
Disadvantages: Eventually, it comes to an end.

Advantages: Beautiful Chill out music.
Disadvantages: You may not listen to anything else- ever!

The Piano's Gone. Real Gone.

Advantages: Some great songs and playing throughout
Disadvantages: A few weak tracks let the whole down a little

Sleep through the static - For those who love this life

Advantages: everything about this album is perfect
Disadvantages: you'll waste your whole day listening to him

Overview This album is his lastest release up to date. Compared to his previous album, "In between dreams", I personally prefer the previous one. This does not mean that "Sleep through the static" is not good.
