Advantages: Some great songs and some great singing Disadvantages: Few standout moments from bass and drums, a few weaker tunes
...sex does indeed sell, and Appetite for Destruction, what with the pornographic sounds on Rocket Queen, can be proof of that - over 16 million records sold! (Though this may not have been the case had they chosen to stick with the controversial painting of the same name for the cover art.) Tongue-in-cheek aside, I must admit, although I'd never be a fan of Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction is a really good rock record.

Appetite for Destruction opens to a swarm of guitars that is Welcome to the Jungle, which is sure to whet the appetite for hard rock! The three tracks are good choice of singles, though not my favourites off this album.

Song for song, they deliver not just spectacular riffs but songs that are anthems, that are representative, from the greasy "Shoot to Thrill" to the pummeling "Back in Black," which pales only next to "You Shook Me All Night Long," the greatest one-night-stand anthem in rock history. ...
Advantages: Great diversity and outstanding music. Disadvantages: Lacks most of the bands classic material and as such not great as an introduction to Led Zeppelin.

Lryically Have a nice day is an album of pure genius. Its about getting over being down and getting on with your life when stuff happens. It talks about addiction in the track one last cigarrette freedom in bells of freedom and i think the best track is by far who says you cant go home. this track is lively, talks about what people really think and how they should act in a that situation. no matter what people think of you. Have a nice day also focused ... ...which is evident in some songs but keeps the hard rock front the band had fort hard to achieve. This album is well worth buying and is a good listen whenever. It will cheer you up and you will feel differently about something if you read and take in the lyrics. It was long awaited and didnt dissappiont. ...
