One of their best Best of ever out in the market

Advantages: Good selection of tracks, up to date
Disadvantages: nothing

Pretenders were quite famous in the end of Seventies and during the Eighties. This is an example of their best work done during these two decades. It includes songs like stop your sobbing and Brass in the pocket, Back on the Chain Gang and Don’t get me wrong to mention only a few. Of Whales and not so much of the woe if you please!

Of Whales and Woe is Les Claypool's first proper solo album. His name may not be familiar to all as he is better known as Primus' frontman bassist extraordinaire. This album was released back in 2006 on his own record label Prawn Song. (It was recently re-released on vinyl as of November 2009.) ...check this out! The arrangements of the other instruments like saxophone sitar, guitar and drums, etc sit really well together without drowning anything out. The songs themselves are really catchy and you'll find yourself singing along too by the end of it. There is even one track on here, Iowan Girl, written specially for his wife with some of the most amazing bass playing I have ever heard. There isn't a bad track on here in my opinion. Advantages: A great number of songs are good. Highly original.
Disadvantages: No all the songs are that great.

Radiohead does it again. Highly original record. Most songs last forever. The in and out bass line of "Airbag" is brilliant. I also like the way this song slowly unfolds, specially the brilliant guitar. You might be surprised to hear that I don´t care too much for "Paranoid Android" one of their most famous singles.
