Advantages: "Beautiful" is just that, decent value, not as formulaic as much music nowadays

Advantages: the devastating "Beyond You" and "Out of This World"
Disadvantages: the annoying Beach Boys style "Cannibal Surf Babe"
They can be inconsistent but Marillion are capable of such sublime moments that it is easy to fall in love with them. This may not be a very commercial album ("Misplaced Childhood", "This Strange Engine" and "Marillion.com" are better in that respect) ...

Advantages: An exceptional album with plenty of variety
