Advantages: Political message, Great riffs, Generally Incredible, storyline
Disadvantages: None from my view

This was where I caught the green day bug. The songs seemed more mature and had an extra meaning and the solo in American Idiot just made me think they were trying to say "this is Green Day and we are back!" ...with all albums it took me a few listens to get into it. From there i learnt every song on the album on guitar, i even attempted on drums. The album was that good arguably it became an obssession. It also had a strong political view in it and therefore really caught my eye as a mature album. I was there! - listen to me !

Advantages: Brilliantly directed
Disadvantages: Only showed half of Brain Stew/Jaded

I attended the actual gig myself in Milton Keynes and it was amazing !!! There were over 65 thousand people that attended over two nights - Green Days biggest yet. I waited for this CD/DVD to come out very impatiently as I couldnt wait to reminise. Once purchased, i immediately put into my DVD player to watch. This is a documentary/ concert. In between each song, the band speak for a couple of minutes about various things relating to American Idiot. ...
...ruins the flow of the concert and can be a little disheartening. Also, I feel once you have watched in this format a couple of times, you don't need to hear the "facts and figures", you just want to get along with the concert. The songs chosen for the DVD were suited to mainstream and maybe not the hardcore Green Day fans as such. Green Day have a song which is split into two tracks but they only have shown one half of this which is really ruined ...

Definitive Blink 182 - automatically awesome!

Advantages: All your favourite blink songs bundled into one awesome collection
Disadvantages: Not as "special edition" as i would have hoped - lack of poster etc

Blink 182 are a rare beauty - a genre defining band, they epitomise modern punk and everything brilliant about it. Simple, catchy riffs that are easy to create, manic drumming and clever, often disgusting lyrics. The Clash, The Singles review

Advantages: Plenty of great tunes to keep you listening
Disadvantages: Obvious lack of some classics that weren't singles

This is a great compilation that charts the development and journey of the Clash from their early days as hedonistic punks, to their later days of commercial success in the US. There are loads of great tunes on this album, and one can but wonder why none of them were UK Top Ten Hits during the band's lifetime. Also, to get a true reflection of the Clash, one must also consider the quality of many album-only tracks which aren't featured on this compliation for obvious reasons. Advantages: A great collection featuring many of the bands finest moments
Disadvantages: Some of the hits have been needlessly omitted
