Green Day - American Idiot
Review of American Idiot (Parental Advisory) [PA] - Green Day by TheNewEvil

Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: No thing unless you have a teen which has not rebled

I truly love this practical album as well as the early album Dookie yet it seems that everyone knows Green Day (Bille, Mike and Tre) because of one there more popular song "American Idiot" which is not surprising with its remember-able lyrics which teenager can get a hold of and throw out with. Still this album has some great material to listen and enjoy to the full existent of self opinion and meaning, which sort of describes teenagers life and ...
...them. But true fan will have heard of the Dookie material (in fact I'm sure that nobody outside the Green Day inner circle of fans have ever heard). Yet it's still a pleasure to listen to see just how far they have come and are likely to go. They have changed the style from Dookie but come back with a fresh new sound to bring life up to date. Anyways it would be so fake to just stick with one rule or principle for the sound to follow. Anyone who ... Read review

Good, solid sound
Review of Simple Plan [ECD] - Simple Plan by spikki241

Advantages: 11 great tracks
Disadvantages: Not as bouncy and fun as they used to be

...3rd release from Canadian 5-piece, Simple Plan. As with Still Not Getting Any this album is a little bit different to previous albums. Not that that's a bad thing! What may put people off about this album is the opening bar of When I'm Gone. While it may seem the band have gone in a 'techno' direction, it would be wrong to assume the rest of the album follows suit. Being the band's first single from the album, this song has great lyrics and a catchy ...
...it'll be stuck on repeat! Simple Plan are not losing their trademark sound with songs such as Time To Say Goodbye, reminiscent of Thank You on their previous album while still managing to sound fresh. This album closes with What If, with a solid backing track and interesting lyrics, this song is one to think about. Take My Hand has a terrific riff to it that you can never tire of. It's exciting and memorable. The lyrics are great too, but I wouldn't ... Read review

Review of Take Off Your Pants And Jacket [PA] - Blink 182 by rockchick2k7

Advantages: great consistency
Disadvantages: use of bad language is used quite a bit

Blink 182: Take Off Your Pants and Jacket Probably the best album they have ever created. Tom Delonge: Vocals and guitar Travis Barker: drums Mark Hoppus: Bass and Vocals Genre: punk rock Take off your pants and jacket is Blink 182s 5th studio album and certainly improved from The Mark, Tom and Travis show. This album was released 2001. Blinks 182 are known for their catchy songs and have sold around 40 million records world wide. The Anthem ...
...is still good. Please Take Me home: This song has brilliant lyrics I love to sing along to this song simply because the rhythm is amazing! Time to break up(bonus track): An acoustic guitar is the only instrument used in this song and it is only sung by tom it really shows that he has a great voice. This song does use a bit of bad language but I suppose it fits in the song perfectly. Mothers Day (bonus track): This song is not them singing about ... Read review

Reffeshing album with afew week links
Review of Infinity On High - Fall Out Boy by doubleheman

Advantages: Reffeshing, alot of great tracks
Disadvantages: Some bad links, Some bad songs

This is the first fall out boy album that I have ever listened to. I was aware that he was around since I Heard his odd single on the radio and people talking about him. I was going to get a Ipod for my birthday and wanted some new music since my music collection is a little out dated and weak. I looked at some reviews and asked around I knew that I should get this album. I got this album put it on and I did not think that it would be as good as ...
...how refreshing his music is to listen to. I am still enjoying it right now as I listen to it I was really glad to of bought this album after the dilapidation. The way that the music is played is much different too many other bands that I have listened to in a good way the only bad thing I would say is that there are some bad connections among tracks like their's a track which is really amazing but then after that their's a track which really sucks ... Good compilation for walking on the beaches
Review of Peaches (The Very Best Of The Stranglers) - Stranglers (The) by Flash-Hammer

Advantages: As good a selection of Stranglers songs available on 1 disc
Disadvantages: Naturally not everyone will have their favourites on here. Skin Deep is on it.

...the band via songs like Peaches and 5 Minutes via pub jukeboxes, compilation CDs and movie soundtracks, and not to mention the band's most famous song, Golden Brown being adopted for some reason by my friends in high school as an anthem of sorts, I decided that maybe I should look into the band more. Peaches, with it's sleazy reggae sound and lyrics about strolling down the beach for a perv, Golden Brown with it's more classy waltz sound, and infamous ...
...2001/2002, on the back of Peaches being used in an Adidas TV ad, all of the band's albums were re-issued on CD, along with a rarities collection, two singles reproduction box sets, and this compilation, geared to snare in all the people who caught the song on the advert, and even possibly in the movie Sexy Beast. All in all, it's a bit of an odd compilation. It's in anything but chronological order, even if the first and last tracks would suggest ... Read review
