The compilation ends with Madonna's most recent chart success, which again does not ring any bells with yours truly. A dance song inviting the listener to come and join a party, it is very catchy, and proves that Madonna still has the ability to write, produce and perform relevant, good music.
Despite my overall positive review of the disc, I do have my criticism. The songs are not all ... ...were hand-selected by Madonna herself and a group of fans. It appears to me that they have been picked by Louis Walsh, with his blinkered, ill-informed opinion of what the public want to see and hear. 'American Life' and 'True Blue', both of which were Number 1 singles, are notable omissions. However, if one wants a snapshot of Madonna's musical career, then this is a definite purchase. ...

I am a huge Madonna fan but im going to try and make this review as unbiased as possible!
Shes had sell out tours, adopted children, donated to charity, and now... shes made her 3rd greatest hits album!
When i heard that Madonna was to release another greatest hits album, I was quite sure it was going to be a mix of pretty much the same tracks as her last 2 greatest hits albums, plus a few newer tracks and I was right. The immaculate collection ... ...of tracks. Despite of this, I still think the track choices are excellent, from her 80's tracks like holiday and material girl, to her newest songs like 4 minutes and hung up, you name her big tracks, and they are on this album.
All the tracks on the album have been digitally remastered, and you can definately tell, they sound great and are all the original songs (immaculate collection doesnt include all originals) So! I would definately recommend ...

...her earlier stuff on The Fame album. It reminds me of a summer track, listening to it whilst just chilling on the beach. It's not as catchy as the other songs but it does bring something different to this album.
8) Teeth - To be honest when i first listened to this song i thought 'What the Hell is she doing?!?' Its hard to describe this song. It reminds me of a song that would be performed in a cabaret bar and it really is an old-fashioned number. ... ...Dangerous album. He uses old school beats and strange sounding vocals to create a unique song for Lady GaGa. After a few listens to this song i found myself clicking my fingers and tapping my feet to the beat. I'm looking forward to seeing her perform this live when i go see her in concert in 2010.
