...This album was originally released on a small independent label called FM after they left their previous label Jet. This album was produced by Kit Woolven and recorded in UB40's studio in Birmingham (UK). The album was so good it was the springboard to their signing with major label Polydor in the latter part of the eighties. Anyway back to the music.... ...track called Come on Young Love which actually is just "steal your heart" with a different chorus. There is also a 26 minute interview with Bob and Tony (circa 1993) Cover artwork by Rodney Matthews depicting what looks like a tavern. Possibly one of my favourite Matthews pictures. ...

Stay beautiful - forever

Advantages: One of the greatest albums ever
Disadvantages: Its took 10 years for most people to realise it

Jagged Little Pill Acoustic-Alanis Morissette

Advantages: Chilled out,familiar,still got that magic,more mature vocals make songs emotionally stronger.
Disadvantages: Not really any new material but it does give you something new in sound and feel.

Jagged Little Pill Acoustic- released in 2005 suits the new Alanis really well. With her general albums showing a mellower (hippier) side, the acoustic take on the past albums is really a nice idea. The good thing about this album is that the songs still have the familiarity that they did before but with a slightly new sound. Now if you are expecting it to be an album of just Alanis and an acoustic six string, then you will be proved wrong! From ...
...of the first version of Jagged Little Pill and feel concerned that this album wont have anything to offer, then dont be concerned. This album really does offer something different and as I have got older, I think I now prefer this version. It really is something lovely to put on when travelling on a busy packed tube that makes you feel more chilled, more contemplative and stil gives you that edge with the cutting wit of her memorable and catchy lyrics. ...

No one came, for miles around.............

Advantages: Another brilliant British prog rock album
Disadvantages: none whatsoever

First released in 1971, Fireball was the follow up to "In Rock" and is seen as part two of a trilogy of classic British progressive rock albums from Deep Purple, sandwiched between 1970's In Rock and 1972's Machine Head. Thought for today: other than Zeppelin's IV, Houses Of The Holy and Physical Graffiti, has any other band ever come out with three great albums one after the other? I doubt it very much. There Goes My Hero, He's Ordinary

Advantages: Some amazing songs
Disadvantages: SOme weak songs

...one. Track 19: Colour and the Shape Screeching describes this track to a T, it's not good, it's not pleasant to listen to and it's just a damn mess. The Colour and the Shape vs. Extra Tracks I got the 10th Anniversary special with extra tracks of Amazon for just under £5 however if you want to get the one without the extra tracks like I would suggest you do, you are looking to pay about £2 more than the more recent release. I would however buy the album without the extra tracks on, I'm sure you can get it cheap off EBay because the extra tracks are just awful. Should ...
