I got the 10th Anniversary special with extra tracks of Amazon for just under £5 however if you want to get the one without the extra tracks like I would suggest you do, you are looking to pay about £2 more than the more recent release. I would however buy the album without the extra tracks on, I'm sure you can get it cheap off EBay because the extra tracks are just awful. Should ...
Advantages: Unreleased recordings, unreleased versions Disadvantages: A few were unreleased for a reason!
If you have the original albums or are a fan of the group, this is more than a dream come true. There are enough unreleased recordings here to make a whole album of material, plus with all the unreleased 12" versions and mixes and demos etc, here we have a double CD of pure gold. Some have even been finished off by group members to bring unfinished tracks up to date... and yes it is the original line up of Jay, Bobby, Cheryl and Mike (along with ... ...The unreleased songs vary from unbelievably brilliant (and you will wonder why they were never released) to tracks like I love music where you can understand why they stayed in the vaults! However, this is a perfect introduction to Bucks Fizz if you are new to them and if you know them already, you are going to LOVE this! ...
Advantages: Bonus DVD and loads of extra features! Disadvantages: None!
Everything Must Go was an album that gained the Manic Street Preachers a whole new generation of fans, after the much-mourned departure of guitarist Richey Edwards. With more accessible songs than their previous releases, but still possessing the edge that made the Manics heroes to so many fans in the first place - the ability to challenge conventions with their lyrics whilst still making catchy tunes - this album every bit deserves to be re-released. ... ...on the "main" disc, as there are plenty of reviews of the original release for that, however the extras on this edition are worth the cover price and more. Alongside live tracks and demos of both released and un-released material, are some of the b-sides most loved amongst fans, in particular the spectacular Stealth Sonic Orchestra remix of A Design For Life. First released in 1971, Fireball was the follow up to "In Rock" and is seen as part two of a trilogy of classic British progressive rock albums from Deep Purple, sandwiched between 1970's In Rock and 1972's Machine Head. Thought for today: other than Zeppelin's IV, Houses Of The Holy and Physical Graffiti, has any other band ever come out with three great albums one after the other? I doubt it very much.
