Little can be added to the praise that has always been heaped on Carole King's album "Tapestry". But a group of artists have found a better way than words to show their admiration and love for this practically perfect collection of songs. With a plethora of artists from Celine Dion to Manhattan Transfer to Rod Stewart, this Tribute will appeal to practically everyone. Granted, not all the artists' will suit the taste of true lovers of the original ... ...there is a lot to recommend this album.
My personal favorite track on this album is Manhattan Transfer's version of "Smackwater Jack". This ballad like song, with its slightly country overtones, seems to fit the voices of this group like a glove. They've done nothing particularly special with the song, but still, it seems like they have revitalized it.

Heard a song on my local radio station almost every morning going to work and every morning I waited in anticipation for the hosts to announce who sang this song but the name never came. ...6th and most recent album, Dark Horse has just been released, and I after having it on pre-order for months, have had it delivered to my door. Here is my review: Track 1- Something In Your Mouth From listening to this song, there is one thing that hit me first; this will never become one of their hit tracks. It sounds a lot like something I would usually enjoy, but for the opening for the album, I was expecting something either to rock my socks off ... ...for days. I didn't get either of these however, it is a good song, there is no taking anything away from the track, but it's just not got the special stamp that Nickelback's usual songs have.
