Well, this was Westlife's last album before they went on their one year break, and i can definetely say that this is Westlife at their best!
The album generally has a good mixture of ballads and uptemo songs. Also a good mixture of covers and originals - yes these boys can write a fabulous song when they want too!
Two personal favourites of mine have to be 'Us Against The World' and 'I'm Already There' 'Us Against The World' because it sums up ... ...babies, weddings, families, growing up etc...) and 'I'm Already There' because you can really feel the emotion when Shane and Nicky sing on it (they both have children, and the song is about a father being away from his children)
All in all, i have to say i cannot wait for Westlife's return album, and another 10 years!!!!! ...

As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless!
Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best. Some of the good old classics!
Admittedly the other ones may have been slightly poorly chosen, but I assume it was some poor uneducated survey collector somewhere who ...

...- and his first album, Back To Bedlam - attracts opinions that are much more varied than the contents of the album itself. Personally, I think the album is ok - even bordering on good - but my main criticism of it would be the similarity of a lot of the songs. So much so that I find it impossible to give a track-by-track analysis and find enough to say about each song. Most people will be familiar with the album's signature track, You're Beautiful, ... ...the rest of the album: strummy acoustic guitars, simple pleasing harmonies, well-written meaningful lyrics and that little-bit-posh, little-bit-whiney, little-bit-nasal voice that wouldn't sound out of place narrating a Famous Five story. A few of the songs do stir me emotionally (especially Goodbye My Lover) and, on the whole, it is an album that I ocassionally enjoy listening to from start to finish.
