I don't often listen to Radio 1, but this one time I did, they were playing only tracks recorded in the live lounge - And I Loved It. the songs were not remastered and you could hear the lyrics and music without all the extras that make some people buy their tracks. ...acoustic, and other peoples songs. By listening to the tracks you can tell which artists can sing and which artists definately need to remaster their tracks to sell their singles/albums. Or which need to lip synch for their live gigs. I'll let you make up your own mind who you think these artists are out of artists like Keane, The Automatic, My Chemical Romance, Coldplay, Oasis, Lily Alln, KT Tunstall, Pink, James Blunt and LOADS more!!... I don't understand how this has so many good reviews,this WOULD be a good album were it not for the constant and rather rather obvious distortion that can be herd quite easily throughout the album, this is not the sort of distortion like you get in electric guitars quite often, that sort of distortion is done deliberately for effect, the distortion that can be herd on this album is down to poor mastering, because somone thought they would make it ...
...up, louder in the recording just makes an album sound like this. There is even a petition to have it remastered http://www.petitiononline.com/RHCPWBCD/petition.html However if you search the net there is an "unmasterd" bootleg version in circulation, this version is actually listenable, in fact I rate the unmasterd version as 4 stars! Advantages: Great to reminisce
Disadvantages: You realise how silly you used to be

...and I was falling in love with pop stars, tv stars and the boy next door haha. the songs on this album reminded me of all this, and my first kiss, haha. It has a great mix of earlier 80's that I can just about remember and the later material that reminded me of my teens. I loved it. As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless! Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best.
