Background Information:
Brian Setzer is a superbly talented singer and guitarist, better known in the USA, but renowned across Europe and Japan.
He originally had success with The StrayCats - a rockabilly trio in the 1980s.
Since then Brian has fronted many projects. He has also written material for films such as Jingle all the Way, Me Myself and Irene and the Aristocats.
In 1994 Brian formed The Brian Setzer Orchestra - a Swing / Rock n Roll style with the backing of a 17 piece Big Band Orchestra.
The sound is difficult to describe as it is unique, but on the lines of a full Glenn Miller Style Big Band with Rockabilly Guitar fronting and Vocals.

Advantages: Hey Its The Stray Cats Disadvantages: None unless you don't like Rockabilly
...Okay i appriciate that StrayCats are not everyones cup of tea, but this is for the last few fans out there, in my mind you cannot beat them but i have a wide array of music tastes but i will try not to be too bias towards them and i will give you a view of a fan, if you are not a fan you will not buy it anyway as they are a taste all to their own.
From their slap back echoy backing sound to the sometimes harsh and rough rockerbilly style voice of Brian Setzer.
I currently have about 20-30 Lp's of StrayCats and although i listen alot to G n Roses, Scorpions,80's,Alicia Keys and Country etc the effects S/Cats use are almost totally a sound of their own.
(LP's, now theres aword/abbreviation you hardly hear anymore/ good old 45's, LP's, EP's (with the occassionally HIPPIE's thrown in for good measure..lol..(no offence meant...
