Advantages: Loads of Hits from the Golden Era of Rock N Roll Disadvantages: None

Next up is Eddie Cochran with “Summertime Blues.” Eddie was a dynamic guitar player and this song is one of the best. Also on the album is one of my favourites,”Three Steps To Heaven.”Eddie was tragically killed in April 1960 when the cab he was in crashed in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Also in the cab was Eddie’s girlfriend Sharon Sheeley and singer Gene Vincent, both of whom escaped with their lives (although Vincent suffered serious leg injuries.)
JerryLeeLewis is next with “Great Balls Of Fire.”Lewis was the man every father feared, and his reputation suffered even more when he married his thirteen-year old distant cousin. I don’t know about “great balls of fire”, but his career nearly went up in a “great puff of smoke.” He also features on this album with “...

Advantages: Great Catchy Pop/Rock Tunes Throughout Disadvantages: Poor Longevity
...of pace and the wonderful and different 'No More Legend' but apart from that it can be quite difficult to tell songs apart. This is the albums major downfall. The album is great while it last but it is not an album that you will feel compelled to listen to regularly. So longevity is the main flaw of 'Nothing New Since RockNRoll'.
Some more adult listeners may find this album a little immature but if you understand this is an album written by young people for young people then it will make you enjoy it that much more.
Final Thoughts & Recommendations
The CD and Booklet are all very well designed and put together especially for a 1st mainstream CD.
This is definitley an album for the youngsters. If you are older than 21 then I'd suggest you check out the Fight's 1st release 'Home Is Where The Hate Is' (HIWTHI) before you check this...

Their guitarist, dread locked and extremely thin, Mikko Lindstrom, to me, stole the show; his edgy, passionate guitar riffs simply made the performance and kept the fans driven all night long.
Upon my return from my live experience, I began to get more interested in the band, learning about their inspirations and stories from life on the road.
Then, I heard about a HIM side project called 'Daniel Lioneye', the band's 'sleaze rock' record.
Curious, I soon got the album. Lets just say I was shocked at what I was hearing...
Track number one 'The King of Rock 'NRoll' I recognised as the opening theme tune to cult MTV show 'Viva La Bam'. The raunchy electric guitar...
