Album Notes: Compilation producers: Dick Shurman, Steve Wagner.
Album Reviews: Mojo (2/03, p.101) - "...The performances are riveting. Even in stunning lo-fi, Magic Sam's passionate vocal quaver still sends chills down the spine..."
Advantages: brilliant music Disadvantages: if only there were more songs
...When i first set sight on this explosion of pure rock n roll i can honestly say my heart stopped!
So many years have gone by with a lack of new bands to inject todays society with the pure rock n roll thats lacked birthing in the music scene for many years. Airbourne are a complete breath of fresh air.
These australian rockers blow is away with their album 'runnin wild'
Very much inspired by old school rockers ACDC, Airbourne bless heir listeners with a compliation of amazingly catchy riffs and histerical lyrics about bed rockin! Airbourne are a mixture of late 70s and 80s classic rock.
If you love a bit of completely genuine hard rock , with riffs galore, then you must headbang your way into heaven and start runnin wild with AIRBOURNE!...

...What a great album, this album is rockin! It features songs such as Even better than the real thing, the fly, mysterious ways, zoo station, until the end of the world, so cruel, whos gonna ride your wild horses, one, trying to throw ya arms around the world, ultra violet (light my way), acrobat and love is blindness! All of these songs are great, slow, fast, emotional, deep, and they really get you thinking, great lyrics and of course what a voice Bono has, this is a definate must everyone, not just U2 fans! Excellent, go and get it now, its addictive!...

Advantages: Overdue Live Album Disadvantages: Some more hits could have been included
...Heard about the album via the media, then whilst in the "every little helps" store saw it for £9.99. Sold to the fat bloke, points were a bonus!
Played it a few times when I got indoors, it sounded good. Because I live in a flat, respectful of the neighbours I could't give it the full welly. Recorded it onto cassette, tried full volume on the car stereo. This is when it shines. Great mix of the best known Bon Jovi tracks and a few not commonly heard before, plus a few surprises.
A great cover of Neil Young's "Rockin' In The Free World" put tingles down my back and a duet with Bob Geldorf with "I Don't Like Mondays" made a nice surprise. I wonder if Sir Bob washed his hair for the occasion, (greasy git), his nits would have found Nirvana in JBJ's barnet!
All in all, a very, very good album....
