Additional notes
Album Notes: Fronted by famed British science fiction author and sometime member of Hawkwind Michael Moorcock, the Deep Fix were the real-life manifestation of a fictional band featured in many of Moorcock's sci-fi Jerry Cornelius stories. ROLLER COASTER HOLIDAY is an extended version of the band's 1975 album NEW WORLD'S FAIR, containing alternate mixes, instrumentals, and demos. Tracks like "Sixteen Year Old Doom," "Candy Floss Cowboy," and "Starcruiser" are reminiscent of MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD-era David Bowie, while the album's personnel list contains many Hawkwind alumni, making this a must for fans of early-'70s British psychedelia.
Advantages: Great Tunes, Musicality 10 out of 10! Disadvantages: NONE!
...Ocean Colour Scene write yet another album going un-noticed among the greats. Once you start listening to the actually songs - the great fowler words and the smooth craddock guitar, you cannot underestimate the intricicaty of it all. It really put all this 'pop' into perspective! One From the Modern Is THE best album I've heard in a long time and my misucal range is wider than most. From the slow melodic 'I Wont Get Grased' to the thumping anthemic qualities of 'July' The album really takes you on a roller-coaster ride really getting deep into these peoples hearts. A DEFIANTE MUST!...

Advantages: A better album than the last, good lyrics and music Disadvantages: Some may find offensive in places
..., the words rot and fall away. What stupid poem could fix this home, I’d read it every day."
8 - RollerCoaster - 2:48 - Rollercoaster with person inside.
Fast drums and a nice little riff… roller-coaster is written in the lyrics and the speed in the music. A song full of nervous expectations about a girl. The roller-coaster referring to the fun ride that is the asking out of a girl and the date. The roller-coaster of emotions that run through the adolescent veins, adrenaline flowing. Destined to be the second single.
"Breathing Deeply, walking backwards, finding strength to call and ask her, RollerCoaster favourite ride, let me kiss you one last time."
9 - Reckless Abandon - 3:06 - Handcuffs.
A nice fast song, catchy chorus and verses. Not entirely sure what this song relates to, but just seems to be about the kids having...
