McFly are great friends with Busted, the one member Tom even auditioned to be in Busted but only got into the final two and Charlie was picked instead of him, but now we're all glad because if he would have got in then we wouldn't have come about McFly! Basically they are four teenage dudes who seem to know alot about heartache. They are often compared to Busted and referred to as Mini-Busted, but if you listen to there album McFly and Busted are totally different and sound nothing alike! They have the whole 60's sort of music going on, which is great! Nice to see the 60's coming back! This album is AMAZING! I know a variety of age groups would enjoy it, I even know some people who usually hate this sort of music that LOVE this album or at least one or two of the songs on there! Something that amazed me is their writing talents, they are still very young and you'd think they'd have a lot to learn about song writing, but their songs are very to the point and they even add fun to them. I myself can't help but get up and dance around in my bedroom to the songs on there. They even have ballads on there, which I have to be honest the first time I heard 'Not Alone' (one of the ballads) I cried. Who are the men behind the music? Tom Fletcher- Vocals and guitarist , Danny Jones-Vocals and guitarist, Dougie Poynter-Bassist and vocals and Harry Judd-Drummer, the youngest being Dougie who is only 16! Now you might say, hey, they're so young, can't be that good, I don't see what the fuss is about! You are wrong! There are so many heartfelt emotions in these songs, it seems these boys have been through alot when it comes to girls, in fact, they seem to constantly put themselves down! Bless! They even have a song called Broccoli on there! See! Even something for veg lovers! Told you there was something in there for everyone! Though teenagers may find it more appealing as it has matters that teenagers would be going through, I'm sure the older person would love it because of the 60's like music! It's amazing, how much meaning their songs have! So go out and buy it! I doubt the cost of this album really matters as whatever you pay for it, I guarantee it will be worth it! But if you're worried you wont then I say visit Tesco's where I got it for £9.99 (I think) and it has given me days/weeks of entertainment! From this debut album I'm sure we can expect only the best from the McFly boys who have already brought out two of the songs '5 Colours In Her Hair' (About a girl, who some may say is weird, she has a lip ring and five colours in her hair, she's a loner, with a sexy attitude) and 'Obviously' (As I said these lads put themselves down alot as obviously is about them 'hopelessly reaching out for a girl who's out of this world' but they say she's 'obviously' out of their league! BLESS!) Both have been number 1's! Which proves these lads could be the next big thing! They're future should be a good one and I'm sure they will be around for another few years! So as I said, go and buy it, you won't know what you're missing if you don't! You can have a bop around the bedroom too! =P
*Pssssst just to let you know there is a cool hidden track on the album, I wont let you in on the secret of how to access it though because I don't think I'm allowed, but if you want to know how to all you have to do is simply register on the McFlyOfficial site.
