Advantages: Distintive catchy tunes to sing along to Disadvantages: Not as striaght and refined as previous album's
...'..It's six in the mornin, and the's no one else around ..'
Recorded in Noel Gallaghers recording studio 'Roots and Echoes' is a brilliant album with many hits songs that you will find yourself humming away to or even singing the chorus' out loud. After many years in the industry the band have brought out their best album to date. Much respect should be given as even though there music is fantastic, the havent been in the spotlight all that much and havent had the wide pludits they should have had.
With a fantastci lead singer like James Skelly and many taltented guitarists their plain style of folk music mixed with rock n roll influences is a recipe for sucess. Mant sure to be classics are featured on the album like 'Jacqueline', 'In the Rain' and there hit song 'Who's Gonna Find Me'. The band mix clever lyrics and talented muscians...

Advantages: Another album by the legendary Roots! Disadvantages: Not as unique sounding
...The Roots is the legendary hip hop group headed by ?uestlove a big fat drummer with a massive afro..drummer? yes..you see, the thing that separates The Roots from any other hip-hop group is that they are a live band. Instead of synthetic beats and sounds from the DJ, The Roots produce authentic sounds with authentic musical instruments. What you get is a fresh and amazing sound and atmosphere to the music that The Roots produce.

Advantages: Consistant quality Disadvantages: One weak track

Released in 1993, the LP was the first recording from them since being formed in 1987 in their hometown, and having them toured much of Europe with their original take on Hip Hop. Clearly, if you are aware of early Hip Hop groups, then you would have to compare them with the first Hip Hop band, Stetsasonic, however, they failed to create as much hype as this legendary group has.
The Roots crew in this 1993 album consisted of the drummer, (?uestLove), the MC (Black Thought), the bassist (The Rubberband), keyboardist (Scott Storch) and other MCs (Malik B and Kid Crumbs). Others since then have come and gone, and it's important to point out that Black Thought and ?uestLove are the founders as former school mates, and went on to recruit others as they...
