Advantages: A Dozen Very good songs, with great lyrics Disadvantages: Generic Pop Punk
...Pop Punk perfection. Although Cuteiswhatweaim for can't exactly be described as being 'Cute', they do however seem to achieve exactly what they emo/punk genre wants to see. They provide a mixture of fast, catchy tunes and slow steady melodys. This is an album to dance, laugh and cry to with a nice array of songs to suit everyone.
Following in very similar footsteps to taking back sunday, fall out boy and panic at the disco, Cuteiswhatweaim for don't necesserily provide a new style of music, but instead they provide a next look at it. Songs such as 'Theres a class for this' and 'Moan' are catchy tunes which could easily end up as chart hits if marketed in the correct way.

Advantages: A beautiful album consisting of 12 strong tracks Disadvantages: Some dodgy lyrics at times
...CuteIsWhatWeAim For are a four piece Power Pop band hailing from Buffalo, New York. Having formed in 2005, the band released this début album 'The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch' in 2006 through the record label Fueled By Ramen. Shifting 13,651 album copies in the first week of release, the album broke the record label's internal record set by Panic At The Disco's 2005 release of 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' by a massive 4000 copies. Given that Panic At The Disco's album went on to become a Platinum selling album (selling over one million copies), this is quite an achievement. The band have gained massively in popularity since the release of their album last year, and have unsurprisingly now been snapped up by Atlantic Records.
'The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch' is one of my favourite albums from recent years...

Advantages: something for all Disadvantages: none that i know of
...Now that’s what I call music 57, omg I can remember when it was just, ‘Now that’s what I call music’ before the age of cd’s. I can’t believe they have made 57 of these, I feel so old and I think I’ve probably got the original cassette somewhere in a box collecting dust. So anyone in their 30’s will have been bought up on this generation of compilation albums. I must admit I don’t normally get the urge to buy albums, mainly because nothing has caught my eye. But I do like a lot of the singles that are in the charts recently so I was happy to buy this album when I saw it in my local Asda priced at £14.97. But is usually available in all outlets due to its popularity.
The album consists of 2 cd’s. Disc one seems to be aimed more at the pop & dance where as disc two is more soulful to rock. I know strange combination but it works as...
